Great gardens reflect the influence of centuries of human involvement with nature, our ideas about beauty, and the desire to create a personal environment that expresses who we are. In America, the range of garden possibilities is also shaped by climate, regional history, and tradition. This presentation by Antonia Adezio, founding Executive Director of the Garden Conservancy, offers a tour of today’s great American gardens and an understanding of the challenges and opportunities in garden preservation for the 21st century.
Supported by the IMA Horticultural Society.
